While you’re getting more books in stock, customers who want the book can check the box that reads “I still want it! Please notify me via email when this product is back in stock.” Once you have books again, those who signed up automatically will be emailed about the availability. All you have to do is update the quantity when you have books again.

Abandoned Cart Recovery

Authors Spots also features abandoned cart recovery. For example, someone adds books to their cart and starts to checkout, but, before buying, they get distracted by the kids or the dog or rampaging dinosaurs… that customer will receive an email reminder about what’s in still their cart, so you don’t have to chase them down!
